Creator Agreement

The short version

Your content stays yours. Your views stay yours. Your revenue stays yours. We feature your work to help more people find you. If we ever want to use your content for promotion beyond the Platform, we will always contact you first and get your explicit permission.

1. Your Content Remains Yours

BlackGlobalCitizen does not claim ownership of your content. All intellectual property rights in your videos, including copyright, remain exclusively with you.

Your videos are displayed via YouTube's standard embedding system. This means:

• Your videos continue to live on your YouTube channel
• All views generated through BlackGlobalCitizen count on your YouTube channel
• All watch time accrues to your YouTube account
• All advertising revenue from your monetized videos continues to be paid to you directly by YouTube
• Your subscriber count and channel metrics are not affected

2. What You Grant Us

By submitting your video, you grant ARM Digital Publishing LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Feature your video within the Platform interface via YouTube embed
• Display your channel name, handle, and video thumbnail within the Platform
• Reference your content and channel name in platform communications including newsletters
• Use your channel name and video thumbnail in promotional materials, subject to Section 3

This license does not grant us the right to:

• Download, re-host, or redistribute your video content
• Edit or modify your video content
• Monetize your content directly
• Sub-license your content to third parties

3. Promotional Use — We Will Always Ask First

We believe in fair and transparent partnerships with creators. If we wish to use your content for promotional purposes beyond standard Platform display — including social media posts, paid advertisements, press materials, or partnership announcements — we will contact you in advance to seek your explicit permission.

You have the right to approve or decline any specific promotional use, request modifications, or set conditions. We will never use your content in a promotional context without first obtaining your consent.

4. Your Data

We collect your name, email address, and YouTube channel handle upon submission. This information is used solely to process your submission, contact you about submission status, and seek approval for promotional use.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@blackglobalcitizen.com. We will remove your data and content from the Platform within 30 days.

5. Content Standards

By submitting content, you represent that:

• You are the original creator or have all necessary rights and permissions
• The video does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• The video does not contain unlawful, harmful, or hateful content
• You have enabled YouTube's embedding feature for the submitted video
• The content is travel-related and relevant to the Black travel community

6. Content Removal

You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting hello@blackglobalcitizen.com. We will process removal requests within 7 business days.

BlackGlobalCitizen reserves the right to remove content that no longer meets Platform standards, has been removed from YouTube, or is the subject of a valid copyright complaint.

7. No Compensation

Inclusion on BlackGlobalCitizen does not entitle you to payment from ARM Digital Publishing LLC. The benefit to creators is increased discoverability and additional views on your YouTube channel.

We may introduce paid partnership programs in the future. Any such programs will be offered under separate agreements.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
